Distance Education Captioning and Transcription Grant provides California Community Colleges with funding for live and asynchronous captioning and transcription as a means of enhancing the access of all students to distance education courses. The High Tech Center Training Unit (HTC) of the California Community Colleges is a state of the art training and support facility for community college faculty and staff wishing to acquire or improve teaching skills, methodologies, and pedagogy in Assistive Computer Technology, Alternate Media and Web Accessibility. California Association for Post Secondary Education and Disability, (CAPED) is the professional association of faculty, staff and students, serving students with disabilities at California's institutions of higher educations. They provide equal educational access to students with disabilities through support services, adapted curricula, and academic adjustments. Go to: www.caped.net
CCC Confer is a free service designed for staff, faculty, and administrators in the California Community Colleges system. CCC Confer accommodates a multitude of uses, including training opportunities, grant collaboration, meetings at a distance, or anything else necessary to support the business of education outside the classroom. Online Teaching Conference This conference is offered every year in-person and online, and focuses on K-20 faculty, staff, and administrators engaged (or interested) in online education including delivery of online services such as student, faculty, library, and technical support.
